Good churches have good leaders.  CVC needs more good leaders.  Our hope is that as people become informed regarding elders, they’ll prayerfully consider who God may be calling to this position of leadership within our church body.  For additional information, documents regarding eldership are available for your review online.

Rick Duncan   
Founding pastor and serving as Senior Pastor / Teacher at CVC, Rick and his wife Maryanne came to Cleveland in 1986 to start Cuyahoga Valley Church.
Married October 2, 1976, they have 3 sons:  Alan (1981), married to Joanna; Ryan (1987), and Evan (1993).  The Duncan family recently welcomed grandson Ethan (2010).
Rick has served in full elder capacity since April, 1987.

Chad Allen   
As of October, 2010, Chad serves as CVC’s Co-Teaching Pastor.  He and his wife Rica met in high school and were married in 1993. They have two children:  Cruz (2002) and Isabelle (2003).
As Co-Teaching Pastor, Chad serves in full eldership as of October, 2010.

Ron Cleveland   
Ron and his wife Jo started attending CVC in July, 1987.  Married on October 4, 1986, they have 4 children: Joshua (1988), Sarah (1991), Hannah (1993) and David (1996).
Ron has served as a full and active elder at CVC since June, 2008.

Dan Conway   
Dan and his wife Beth started attending CVC in 1990.  Married in 1979, they have 2 children:  Sarah (1986) and Sean (1991). Dan has served in full eldership capacity since 2000.  He may be contacted at:  (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Wayne Douglas   
Wayne and his wife Gail started attending CVC in 1994 through a friend’s invitation.  Married in 1977, they have a daughter Sara (1984), married to Michael. Wayne has served in full eldership capacity since December, 2008.

Eddie Elliston   
Eddie and his wife Donna married in 1964 and are parents to three adult children.  After serving for many years in the mission field, they returned to the United States.  During this time, Eddie has held various church leadership roles where God had placed opportunity.  He and Donna came to CVC in June of 2008.

Gary Nave   
Gary has served as CVC’s staff Pastor of Family and Adult Ministries since joining the staff in 2000.
He and his wife Joyce were married in 1975, and have 3 daughters:  Beth (1979), married to Josh, Jessica (1982), and Megan (1989).  Included in the Nave family are 3 grandsons.

Dale Piscura   
Serving in CVC’s Care Ministry, Dale and his wife Jackie started attending CVC in 1988.  Married in 1976, they have four adult sons:  Joshua, David, Stephen, and Mark.
Dale has served in full eldership since 2001.
