Missio Dei:  Mission of God
‘Living It Out’

God invites us to be a part of His mission to restore the brokenness in our own lives, communities and world.  Jesus is looking for those who will show His love through daily actions, not just empty words or good intentions.  In other words, He is looking for those who are “living it out”.  What does that look like in your life?  Your story of “living it out” is vital to the expansion of God’s Kingdom.

As part of the Missio Dei devotional booklet, each week’s concluding study has a section titled “Living It Out”.  (You may view the booklet by clicking here.)  Look over the various ideas.  Or maybe you have ideas of your own for how to live out the Gospel in your daily life.  Whatever you decide, please consider sharing your story with us.

As you compose your “living it out” story, please be sure to consider the points below:

• Here’s the missional challenge I took and why.
• Here are the temptations/excuses as to why I didn’t want to do it.
• Here’s how I pushed through those temptations/excuses.
• Here’s what happened.
• Here is the person’s response.
• Here is how I feel about engaging in this missional activity.
• Here is how I am praying for the person I met or am serving.
• Here is what I see God doing.
